The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has announced a specialized recruitment drive for Young Professionals (YPs) on a contract basis for the 2026 cycle. This is an excellent opportunity for dynamic graduates and post-graduates to work with India’s apex development bank.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:

  • Post-Graduation (MA/M.Sc/MBA/PGDM) in relevant fields like Agriculture, Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, or Data Science.

  • Candidates with CA / ICWA / B.Tech in specialized streams may also apply.

  • Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in Graduation and Post-Graduation.

• Age Limit (as of 01.01.2026): * Minimum: 21 Years.

  • Maximum: 35 Years.

• Experience (Optional): While freshers can apply, candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in a reputed organization will be given preference.

Salary & Tenure

• Monthly Stipend: ₹70,000/- (Consolidated).

• Other Benefits: No additional allowances like HRA or DA will be paid; however, YPs will be eligible for 12 days of leave per year.

• Tenure: Initial contract for one year, extendable up to two additional years based on performance and bank requirements.

Selection Process

The selection is purely based on academic merit and professional interaction:

1. Shortlisting: Applications will be screened based on educational qualifications and experience.

2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview (usually held at NABARD Head Office, Mumbai, or through virtual mode).

3. Final Merit: Prepared based on the interview performance.
