Sub-Inspector (SI) Book

A collection of previous papers for the Telangana (TSLPRB) Sub-Inspector (SI) of Police examination, published by Sri Vinoothna Publications. The book contains Prelims and Final Exam papers from 2016 to 2025.

Exam Papers Included:

• Prelims Exam: Papers from 07-08-2022, 26-08-2018, and 17-04-2016.

• Final Exam: Paper-3 and Paper-4 from 08-04-2023, 21-04-2019, and 19-11-2016.

• The document also includes a solved preliminary paper from 2022 and a mains paper (Paper-3) from 2023.

Syllabus for the TSLPRB SCT SI Civil and/or Equivalent Post:

• Preliminary Written Test (200 Questions – 200 Marks):

  • Part A: Arithmetic & Test of Reasoning/Mental Ability (100 Questions, Objective Type): Topics include number system, interest, ratio & proportion, average, percentage, profit & loss, time & work, time & distance, clocks & calendars, partnership, menstruation, analogies, similarities, differences, spatial visualization, problem-solving, and decision making.

  • Part B: General Studies (100 Questions, Objective Type): Topics cover General Science, Current Events, History of India (including the National Movement), Geography of India, Indian Polity and Economy, and Telangana Movement and State Formation.

• Final Written Examination:

  • Paper I: English (Qualifying, Matriculation standard): Includes Objective Type (50 Qs, 25 Marks) on Usage, Vocabulary, Grammar, Comprehension, and Descriptive Type (75 Marks) on Precis, Letters/Reports, Essay, and Topical Paragraphs.

  • Paper II: Telugu/Urdu (Qualifying, Matriculation standard): Structured similarly to Paper I, with Objective Type (50 Qs, 25 Marks) and Descriptive Type (75 Marks).

  • Paper III: Arithmetic & Test of Reasoning/Mental Ability (200 Questions, Objective Type): The syllabus is the same as the Preliminary test but with 200 questions.

  • Paper IV: General Studies (200 Questions, Objective Type): The syllabus is similar to the Preliminary test, but additionally includes a Personality test section on Ethics, Sensitivity to Gender and weaker sections, social awareness, and Emotional Intelligence.
