How to Login & Register for SSC GD 2026

If you are applying for the SSC GD Constable 2026, follow these specific steps to access your dashboard and submit your form.

Step 1: Access the Portal

• Go to the official Staff Selection Commission website: [suspicious link removed].

• On the homepage, look for the "Login or Register" button located at the top right corner.

Step 2: One-Time Registration (For New Users)

If you haven't registered on the new portal yet, you must create a new OTR:

1. Click on "Register Now".

2. Personal Details: Enter your Aadhaar number, name, father's name, and date of birth (exactly as per your 10th certificate).

3. Contact Details: Enter your active Mobile Number and Email ID. You will receive an OTP to verify both.

4. Creation of Registration Number: Once verified, your unique Registration Number will be generated and sent to your mobile.

Step 3: Set Your Password

1. Log in using the temporary password sent to your email.

2. The system will immediately prompt you to Change Password.

3. Set a strong password (at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).

Step 4: Login to Your Dashboard

1. Enter your Registration Number and your New Password.

2. Enter the Captcha code shown on the screen.

3. Click on the "Login" button.

Step 5: Apply for SSC GD Constable 2026

1. Once logged in, your "Candidate Dashboard" will appear.

2. Under the "Live Examination" section, find the tab: "Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026".

3. Click on the "Apply" button.

Step 6: Live Photograph Capture (New Rule!)

• Unlike previous years, you cannot just upload an old photo.

• You must use the "Capture Live Photo" feature. Ensure you are in a well-lit room with a plain background.

• You can also use the "SSC Official App" on your smartphone to sync and upload your live photo.

Important Checklist for Login:

• Aadhaar Card: Keep it ready for identity verification.

• Active Email/Phone: Necessary for OTPs and future communication.

• Live Webcam: Required if applying via Desktop for the live photo stage.
